the weekend.

I love love love my weekends. This one went a little like this. (Picture overload, sorry) Enjoy! Xoxo.

Frozen Yogurt, my favorite.

Friday night I had Trent and Amy's girls for a few hours. I love those little girls so much! We painted lots of tiny toes and fingers and then had a little movie night with treats :)

Saturday: We headed up to the U for a picnic in the park and then headed over to the gymnastics meet.

 Annnd then.... They crashed.

Shopping by night with Henderson.

Sunday; the usual. Then a little time with my buddy Brady.

What a lovely weekend.
And now onto icing the foot.

Cheers!

It is a Rather Small World.

Only very few of you will understand why this is funny. So for those of you who will, enjoy!
On the left; Elder Parker Terry, on of my very best friends through out all of High School. He is now serving his mission in Tempe, Arizona.
On the right; Elder Dave Neff. Family friend. A very close family friend. Who also happens to be serving his mission in Tempe, Arizona.
Like I said, it is a small world.

What... the heck?!

Last week was a good week. Want me to tell you why? Well Elder Manning hit is one year mark, and what does that entail you might ask. Well let me tell you. It means we now have less than 365 days! Yay! I cannot believe how fast time has gone. But am I grateful? Yes, definitely.

Marvin J.

My Mom showed me the shorter version of this last night. Love, love, love this. & to be honest, I really needed this.
“Perhaps the greatest charity comes when we are kind to each other, when we don't judge or categorize someone else, when we simply give each other the benefit of the doubt or remain quiet. Charity is accepting someone's differences, weaknesses, and shortcomings; having patience with someone who has let us down; or resisting the impulse to become offended when someone doesn't handle something the way we might have hoped. Charity is refusing to take advantage of another's weakness and being willing to forgive someone who has hurt us. Charity is expecting the best of each other.
None of us need one more person bashing or pointing out where we have failed or fallen short. Most of us are already well aware of the areas in which we are weak. What each of us does need is family, friends, employers, and brothers and sisters who support us, who have the patience to teach us, who believe in us, and who believe we're trying to do the best we can, in spite of our weaknesses. What ever happened to giving each other the benefit of the doubt? What ever happened to hoping that another person would succeed or achieve? What ever happened to rooting for each other?”

Hello, 2012!

You know, I had good intentions. Really good intentions, of being a really good blogger in 2012. It was my New Year resolution I guess you could say?.. But like most New Year resolutions, it died. Actually, to be honest it never even started. So better late then never, right?! Right. I am going to step up my blogging game this year. And so it begins.

A little catch up, shall we? I am now attending school at Salt Lake Community College, Monday- Thursday. I think not being in school last semester made me appreciate it that much more this semester. I'm only a couple weeks in, but so far so good. I really enjoy my classes & teachers, so let's pray this feeling lasts throughout the rest of the semester.

I am now "working" but not really. I nanny Monday- Friday in the mornings and get the kids ready and off to school. This may or may not have made it official that I am never having kids. Why must they wake up so early?! It has been a good thing. Last semester I was SO lazy, so it's nice to wake up early and get stuff done, it's a nice change of pace.

Lastly, Ragnar training. I am so so grateful that I have my Dad to train with me. We have been running together now for about 3 months and it is my favorite. I love that we have something like that, that we get to do together. Ragnar is now 13 weeks out. I ccouldn't be more excited! Send those prayers on up for me, I keep hearing how hard it is and now matter how hard you train you still aren't ready. Awesome news.

Here are some of my favorite pictures as of lately.
