I'm super proud of you for doing what is right. Other's will respect you more for standing up for what you believe in. I'm sure it's disappointing, but how much more disappointing would it be if you compromised your standards just to go to a dance. I promise, some day you'll look back and be so glad you did what's right. I know, I know, I totally sound like a parent, but it's true.

I love you tons! And I think even more of you for doing what's right.

Good job Jen. Once upon a time I didn't go to a dance because it was the DAY before my 16th birthday and I don't regret it one bit. So, ditto to what Jamie said. You can always come hang out with me on the night of the dance. My house is SO much fun. You can even get dressed up. Aiden and Andrew would probably dance with you too. Even Oakley.

Jenny, Oh I'm sorry girlie! That is so HARD!!! Nothing anyone says can make it better, or change the fact that you can't go. Seriously Jen it says so much about you that you would turn down the offer! I have no doubts that, that is super hard!!! Look on the bright side, your not even old enough and already you have guys lining up to ask you out! Even when I was old enough I still didn't get asked! Jenny I really am so so proud of you! My heart really did break for you when I read that, but your doing what's right, and I have no doubts you will be blessed for it. I would take Amy up on her offer to go dance with Adien Andrew and Oakley! Your one awesome girl, and I'm so proud of you!
